Madame Bicyclette

I love cycling. Being on the road.
The people and stories I encounter on my way.
Or just because of the deafening silence of nature.

I love my bike. I've been driving around with Barry for a while now. Before, it was Titus.
And those before that didn't have a name.
I also have a folding bike with the name Bobby and a racing bike called George.

I like the possibilities of a bicycle.
How to stash an entire house in a few bags:
a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and even a pantry with food.
And every time I look at how that house fits neatly into those bags in the morning.

I usually go out on my own, it has grown on me.
And I don't mind, because there are enough people in the world that I can talk to.

My curiosity always triumphs over my laziness, my perseverance takes over
if I want to hang my head, my belief that-everything-will-be-okay above my fear that it will not be.

I'm glad you found the way to my stories.
I hope they can somehow be inspiring for your own adventures.
